The Grabhorn Press began in Indianapolis under the name of the Studio Press. The press was moved to San Francisco after World War I, where it became the Grabhorn Press. Edwin, Robert, Jane and Mary Grabhorn ran it with Sherwood Grover. Their publications were imaginative, colorful, and award-winning.
