Born to Cuban parents in France, Anais Nin (1903-1977) was an American diarist, essayist, novelist, and writer of short stories and erotica.

These stories range from lyrical love to high comedy and deal with such subjects as the exotic pleasures of Paris in the 1930s and a woman’s awakening to her sexual nature.
