Angelina Ngal Pwerle (b. 1947) is an Australian artist born at Utopia. Her abstract paintings come out of a history of Aboriginal art-making thousands of years old. Using a bamboo stick, Pwerle paints minute dots that float on a colored ground, vibrating within an indeterminate spatial plane, to depict the Bush Plum Dreaming narrative.
