Charles O. Perry (1929-2011) was a sculptor, designer, and architect. Largely known for his large-scale public sculpture commissioned for public spaces in the United States, Australia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and in private collections throughout the world, many of which are depicted in this volume.

Perry is perhaps best known for “Continuum,” (1976) the knotted black Möbius strip that stands in front of the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
